Academy Awards!

I may not be there but you can count on my hooting and hollering to be ringing out loud and clear and very proudly!

The red carpet is being rolled out across Canada and the USA for realtors to step up and receive their awards for a great year of consistent performance and achievement.  Congrats to my newly inducted Legend Award winners, Chairman’s Circle and Chairman’s Club inductees.  Hi fives to the Masters Award winners, those recipients of the Directors Platinum Award, the highly coveted Platinum Club award, the Diamond Award,  100% Club award winners and the new inductees into the Hall of Fame.

Congrats to the agents/realtors who joined the ranks of the top 100  within offices, brokerages, regions/districts or divisions, provinces and states.

Congrats to the realtors who captured market share where there was none before.  Congrats to the realtors who broke their own listing/sales records.  Congrats to the realtors who doubled their incomes.  Congrats to the realtors who mastered the art of the listing presentation this year, and the realtor who’s first time buyer presentation is now a slam dunk!  Congrats to the realtor who created a wonderfully effective open house process  -mastered.  Congrats to the realtor who tweaked the FSBO campaign masterfully!   Congrats to the agent who devoted time/thought to his autoresponder process which gave birth to a new income stream.  And while he may have  quadrupled his lead generating effectiveness – very importantly, his conversions are way up!   Congrats to the realtors who put new keeping-in-touch processes in place – one baby step at a time and have enjoyed the benefits of more time off, more consistency in their business, business coming to them.

Congrats to the realtor who sold her business.  Who received a wonderful paycheck for her quantified/qualifed data base and a residual income to boot for a number of years to come!  What a pleasure to work with you – in and moving out of the business.

Congrats to the realtors who saw perhaps for the first time – appreciation for their professionalism reflected surprisingly in the faces of …. family and friends this year.  How rewarding to have the experience of being hired because you’re being seen as the best – not the brother or the sister or the aunt who works in real estate.

Congratulations to the realtors who wanted change- and changed.

Congrats to the realtors who decided to do “it” and did it.  Who thought less and acted more.  Who planned less and did more.  Who felt they weren’t being perfect in execution but who executed anyway.  Who learned to enjoy the journey.  Congrats to the realtors who learned to do one thing really well this year-and who came to the understanding that  mastering just that one skill will serve you for years!

There are and will be many public accolades – and all well deserved. I applaud those and I also want to applaud the great number of  private and personal victories that preceeded the walk across the platforms and the shaking of hands. For all – completing what you committed to do for our call – a victory.  For some getting up early – a victory.  Making 3 calls a day – a victory.  Asking for the referrals – a victory.  Going to bed early – a victory.  Sending that mailout – a victory.  Getting the listing presentation done – in print – a victory.  Allowing yourself to change a mindset – a victory.  Some days – getting up is a victory!

I so delight in the success of these folks that I am privileged to work with! And while I wish I could attend all the Award galas over the next number of months to add my cheers and applause  I am confined to a page and a paragraph!  Hoot hoot holler holler! Well done gang! Very well done!

Looking forward to 2010!  Bring it on!!
