People don’t change much! It still seems to be the refrain…are we there yet. Or in our case… are we at the bottom yet? It’s the relentless question! We don’t know until we have had some time to move up from bottom and then we look back to see that we did. That’s mostly the reality! Nobody is ringing a bell when it’s “time” or when we are there yet!
In most areas the agents are finding themselves ping ponging from fast multiple offer markets to slow buyers are looking never buying markets!
Is this the right time to buy? Inventory is great in most marketplaces and government incentives are putting many potential buyers into the market. In fact a 1% reduction in the interest rate …and aren’t they marvelously low!… can be equal to a $10K reduction in the price. Sometimes the bargain is not always the bargain when you begin to tally your costs to repair and improve!
One thing – this is a great time to be a realtor! There are a plethora of different circumstances and situations out there for both buyer and seller sides of the markets and this is where you gain marketshare, experience and stretch!
