I could come up with excuses – but I think my story is my excuse.
I had the honor of collaborating with a great number of amazingly committed agents in 2011. And I was so focused on the game – that I am a bit startled to find that the scoreboard results are … record breaking!
New techniques, new technologies, new apps, new ways of doing things, saying things, new ways of thinking about things and putting ideas into action. It was a year where the focus was to keep our eyes on our game and not on the scoreboard. In other words, focus just on what you are to do today.
So we tracked appointments, sources of business, showings, listings, door knocks or calls or whatever else floated the boat – tweaked listing presentations, tightened up buyer agency discussions, ironed out commission objection handlers, fine tuned open house dialogues and follow ups, role played, created online/snail mail/email campaigns and created processes, figured out linked in and likes, developed farm area campaigns and data base credibility campaigns, hired and fired all kinds of people to get the right people on the bus.
It was a year where we chose to stop settling for mediocre, stop settling for comfortable, stop settling for being stuck in our good rut…… so we could experience great! It was a busy year.
At the end of the year – pooped and happy with nothing left on the table. We played all out this year.
I am high fives about the consistency of effort and how you embraced the accountability I brought to the table – which really produced just great results. It was a year for so many personal bests.
And personal best certainly moved my crew ahead of the pack! Wow!
I have agents who took top spot in their office, in the top five of the brokerage, tops in Western Canada, top 50 in the state. There are diamond award, chairman awards, platinum awards, gairndner awards, top rookie awards – all brand new award levels for the agents – who kept their eye on the game!
Hi fives and huge woooot wwwoooot to these wonderful winners – in no special order –
Arlene – exceeded her goal and earned her first Diamond Award – a rookie who found herself wrestling with some huge situations and circumstances which she persevered through and came out a clear winner! Well done!
Selena – going into our third year together because the first year produced a 28% income increase and we were a repeat for year two. A three-peat will mean we have doubled your income -and in three years. I think Edmonton needs to create a new category above Medallion for its top of the top realtors, Splendid year Selena!
Patricia H – is famous for telling the agents in her office that a year of coaching puts an extra $100K in her pocket. This year it was $200K! Congrats on the $800K GCI! It got down to the wire – and you didn’t give up! A gold medal for this winner!
Riccardo – Best year ever – met all his weekly appointment commitments pretty consistently – and exceeded his income goal, helping more than 70 families with their real estate needs. And he had a life. And he went on holidays. And he’s tops in his office!
Sandra – came on board a year ago earning $158 and ended 2011 at $250K. Another happy camper who radiates confidence – is able to clearly articulate her value, her unique differentiator and comfortably navigates the commission questions happily! What a great year!
Traci and Robert – achieved their 28% increase and had more time off this year than any previously. Well done!! The goal was to increase market share in the farm – did it! Well done! Changes to the business model are increasing the referrals from the past clients -and a new build income stream added this year is bound to produce over the top numbers! Systems are in place – let’s do it!
Ron – he’s a superstar! This rookie lender came into coaching after earning about $20K as a lender in his first year. Mostly he learned there was more about developing a business that he didn’t know – than he did. End of our second year income is above $250GCI – and equally important, his business acumen and business development understandings are able to provide the stability for huge growth which is well within his capability. Well spoken, focused, articulate – nothing Rookie about his results. Very proud of you!
